Chlorine-Free Cutting Oil
Description
PRO-CUT 742 is a heavy-duty clear, chlorine free, cutting and grinding fluid using specially refined additives which give it a clear appearance instead of the conventional dark color. This unique combination of highly refined base oils and additives provide excellent extreme pressure and lubricity properties without the use of chlorine. Pro-Cut 742 is recommended for difficult to machine metals in a wide variety of applications. It is especially suited for the machining of titanium and its alloys since it contains no chlorinated additives that may react with the metal and weaken the surface. Not recommended for machining of non-ferrous metals such as copper or bronze as the active sulfur may stain these metals. Excellent in Curvic grinding operations.
